Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026.
By creating an account or using EventWatch, you agree to these terms.
The service
EventWatch monitors websites, social accounts, financial instruments, and news keywords on a schedule, and sends you alerts when it detects changes. Monitoring depends on third-party sources and networks; we aim for reliability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Provide an accurate email address so we can reach you about your account.
Credits and billing
Checks are free. Credits are consumed when alerts are sent (including SMS and voice calls, which carry real-world costs). Credits are prepaid; if you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review it.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or to harass, spam, or harm others.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the service, probe other users' data, or circumvent credit metering.
- Respect the terms of the third-party platforms whose public content you monitor.
Third-party content
Monitored content belongs to its respective owners. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventWatch is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
